VI Systems and WUT report 100 Gbit/s VCSEL transmission at ECOC 2016

VI Systems together with one of the leading research partner Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) will present at the European Conference on Optical Communications (ECOC 2016) an update on 100 Gbit/s single channel data transmission over multimode fiber using an 850nm VCSEL (vertical cavity surface emitting laser).

Record achievements on high-speed data transmission over multimode fiber will be presented at the ECOC 2016 conference. Details of the data transmission tests will be presented in September 2016:
“Up to 108 Gb/s PAM 850 nm Multi and Single Mode VCSEL Transmission over 100 m of Multi-Mode Fiber”
The research partner for this data transmission experiment is the Institute of Telecommunications, Warsaw University of Technology (WUT).
